Why Project Impact?
Project ImpACT addresses a need to provide age-appropriate volunteering for young people with a variety of charities.
MAKE AN IMPACT
- Gen Z (born 1997-2013) are socially minded and want to make a positive impact.
- Volunteering plays a significant role in supporting mental health and wellbeing, boosting resilience and reducing social isolation and anxiety.
- Many charities are unable to provide young people with volunteering opportunities due to limited resources.
- Supporting individuals from diverse faith backgrounds cultivates a compassionate community, fostering understanding, empathy and cooperation.
- Volunteering helps young people develop confidence, leadership skills and become active contributors to positive social change.
